Terrapin Crossroads

Completed 2012
When Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead decided to create a new home for his musical family, he and wife Jill called Hulburd Design. We were honored to provide architectural and interiors services in the transformation of San Rafael's Seafood Peddler into Terrapin Crossroads. The complex features a large restaurant serving modern cuisine, a large bar and two lounges in addition to a 400 person music hall called the Grate Room. Hulburd Design first did the master-plan then thoroughly remodelled the entire complex. From graphics to furnishings Hulburd Design was intimately involved in all aspects of Terrapin's creative realization, and is continuing to help develop the project.
